Teena's Story
Life
I am an interior designer with my own firm and I moved from Michigan to Arizona in 1995. Do I miss the erratic weather? (NO!)Although we do visit 2 -3 times a year.
I have been happily married since 1987 to Robert Jackson (class of 82!) and have two great kids, Schuyler and Carter. I have been doing the mommy thing for nearly 10 years but along the way I have earned a degree, am working on my post degree, and will apply to law school within the next 2 years.
I am a docent with the Phoenix Art Museum, teach the Art Masters program within the Gilbert School District, and am also working on my Master Gardener certification. Does this mean I will end up with my own home/garden show? NO! But I did grow up on a farm and still enjoy some of the simpler things in life.

up my dream of becoming an architect when I found how miserable the pay could be. I do enjoy being a designer(please, I am not a decorator! I am professionally licensed and certified!) My job lets me enjoy a personal and professional freedom and it was a perfect foil for my creativity.
As you can tell, I keep myself extremely busy because I tend to get bored easily with too much time on my hands. Having a family and going to school fulltime was a plateful but I definitely could not have done it without the great support from my husband.
My husband, Bob, graduated from Howell in 82, has an engineering BS, is working on his 2nd MS in global mgmt, and is in executive management for a Tier 1 auto supplier.
Future plans? Just too enjoy life, never regret anything, and basically, celebrate the blessings that the good Lord has given me!
