Life I am married with 2 chidren; Weston was born in 1987 and is a music business major at WTAMU and Lindsay was born in 1990 and is a Sports Exercise Science major at WT. I met my husband at WT and we lived in Amarillo from 1985 - 1993. In Amarillo, I worked as an accounting clerk. We moved to Perryton, TX in 1993. My husband is the general manager of the local radio station, KEYE-AM & FM. I went back to college the 2nd time in 2000 and earned a degree in General Studies. I returned to college again in 2007 to get certified to teach music. I was hired in 2009 to teach music at the elementary school in Perryton, grades 1-3. I feel like this is the job I was born to do, and I hate that I waited so many years to start doing it. I don't have family in Muleshoe anymore, and I don't go there much, but it will always be home; my "Mayberry". I subscribe to the Muleshoe Journal and I enjoy seeing familiar names and faces. I don't remember doing anything too wild in high school because I was too worried about disappointing my parents.
