Life
My Spouse
We were both tennis players and met at Daphne tennis courts. We still play tennis, although not as frequently as when we met.
My Career
I am a Financial Aid Advisor at an Alabama university during the weekdays and an Avon Independent Sales Representative in the evenings and weekends. I am also an eRep at youravon.com/tbiglane.
My Kids
Mason was a gift from God and the most precious gift I have ever received (besides my little sister who was a Christmas present on Christmas Day 1968). He is an intelligent, lovable, kind and caring child with a vivid imagination. He is 18 and a senior this year. He's a member of the DHS JROTC Senior Color Guard and has attained the rank of major. He has been a member of the Senior Color Guard for three years. He signed an SMP Contract with the U. S. Army last December. After he graduates he will attend 4 years of college and serve 16 hours a month in the Army Reserves. Basically he will get paid while he goes to colle...Expand for more

My Pets
Pancho Villa Diego de la Vega is a registered Chihuahua and belongs to my son (although he has ended up being mine - you know, they love the person that takes care of them!). He's really cute - the dog and my son! Addie is a beautiful smoky gray cat given to us by my sister. I don't have a picture of her yet - she won't stay still long enough for me to take her picture! Pancho was nervous and neurotic-acting before we got Addie. You ought to see him now - it makes his "before-Addie" seem calm and serene. Mason's Magnificent "Max" is an AKC Registered Yellow Lab. He became a member of our family on 01/26/2008. He was 8 weeks old on February 9th and already weighs 16.2 lbs (the vet said he estimated that he will weigh a good 90 lbs when grown)! We got Max for Mason (begging for a puppy) but he has bonded with Vernon and me (mostly Vernon). KIDS!!!!! They want the puppy but not the responsibility of taking care of it!
