Christina's Story
My name is Christina Coffey I graduated back in 2003 from South Central.. After graduation I moved out on my own and took classes to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Shortly after getting my certification I moved to Campbellsville Kentucky and started working as a CNA at a nursing home.. I have great friends, and sometimes not such great boyfriends... But I just currently moved back to Indiana to be closer to my family... I missed seeing my little nephews grow up.. So in all I love my job and the community that I live in.. I dont think that I could ask for a better family.
It does not seem like it has been that long ago that I was in high school. It just goes to show how time flies when you are out in the real world. You never realize when you are that young how much your life is really going to change. Sometimes people and things change fcr the better and sometimes not so much for the better.
I cant say to much about my life because I am right were I want to be. I want the career before marriage and children. So hopefully within the next couple of years after i become a RN the rest will fall into place.
I really dont think that there is too much about me that would suprise people. I am a laid back country girl that just likes to go out and have fun. I guess the only things that has changed is that I am alot more carefree to a point when it comes to what people think.. Back when I first started going on to classmates I was a Certified Nursing Assistant. Anyone who has thas that job knows how hard it can be on a person. I loved my job but I decided that I needed a little break because it was starting to get to me a little bit to much. So as of right now I am working as a Pharmacy Technician and I am also working as a Server on Millionaires Row at Church Hill Downs. I love my job over there and would not trade it for anything. Other than working I have been trying to do a little bit of traveling. So far this year I have managed to go to Mississippi, Arkanasas,Texas and later on this month (Sept) I will be going on a vacation to Florida. I guess thats what working hard does for you. It gives you what you want in return. My life has taken me places I never would have thought that I would ever go. After my childhood home burned down back in 2004 I did not think that it was gonna be the same. That was the place that I grew up. But then I realized it wasn't the place it was the community and the people in it. And I would not trade the community I grew up in for anything. They are still there to this day. They helped me get thru the death of my grandfather and that was a rough time for me. Well I have to go back to work so I am gonna hop off here for now.
