Teresa's Story
Life
I married the year after I graduated. 1 1/2 years later my first child was born. I stayed at home with my children, until 1985 and then took my first job with Dari Mart in Harrisburg. In 1989, my youngest was born and I began looking into going to college. In 1994, I graduated with my associates degree from LCC with a major in Respiratory Therapy. I worked in the field until 1996. In 1995, a lot happened to me. I divorced and had a motorcycle accident that almost took my life. I bear scars today from both incidences. I remarried ...Expand for more
in 1997 and changed careers too. I am now an electrician and work out of the union hall in Tangent, Oregon. I love my job. I also am a grandma. Max was born in 2001 and number two grandchild is due in March, 2005. I will never stop learning about new things, eternally the student. Life is too short to be unhappy and I have vowed to not regret anything in the end. My motto: Be true to yourself. This thinking may force changes again in my life, but I will be better for having lived by them. Hope you have something to live by. Teresa
