Life I am a teacher and co-administrator at Calvary Baptist Schools in La Verne, CA. If someone had told me this is where I would land I would have laughed! I spent 15+ years in the investments banking business. I married in 1979 and had a daughter in 1986. My husband and I divorced in 1989 and I never remarried. When my daughter was 8, her dad died suddenly and our lives took a major turn. I quit my job to spend more time with her and volunteered at her school. The principal offered me a job teaching for a ridiculously low salary, but I took the challenge! These have been the best years of my life! I got to watch my daughter grow up into a wonderful young lady who graduated from high school this year. I love teaching and working with "knucklehead" high school boys!
