Teresa's Story
Life
I (finally!) met and married my soulmate, Tim Gamble, after many years of searching, in 2001. I spent most of my post college days building a successful career - but one that wasn't fully rewarding until I balanced my life with Tim, Ryan (7) and Patrick (5). I am an executive at UW Medical Center with responsibility for the outpatient clinical areas, and I feel extremely fortunate to work every day to ensure that the citizens of King County are afforded the highest quality health care possible. I am a much better mother working, and I know my sons (and husband) agree. I love being busy, and work hard and play hard!
I am truly blessed with a life filled with family - immediate and extended. My 5 siblings and I all live within 2 miles of the home in which we grew up (with the...Expand for more
exception of my brother Jeffrey who works in the film industry - and thus must (unfortunately) lives in LA). My parents are still in our family home in Seattle and we all convene weekly for Sunday dinner. We are so fortunate to be able to share our lives on a daily, moment-by-moment basis.
My sons are experiencing the joy of what life should be all about - community and family. We are members of the church/school where my parents married, and where I attended my first 8 years of school. It is a joy to be a part of the community that played such a big part of molding and developing me into who I am today.
While my parents, and all of us, are growing older each day, each day brings new excitement and enlightenment and challenge.
