Teresa's Story
Life
I now live in Franklin, IN and after high school I joined the Navy. I have two wonderful sons, ages 24 and 20 and two wonderful grandchildren, ages 3 and 4 months. I have my real estate licence and am going back to school to get licensed as a Medical Assistant.
Workplace
My job keeps me really busy in and out of the office. Listing and selling homes is a big demand. I have gone back to school and received my Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. I am currently working at the VA Medical Center as an Anesthesia Tech in the operating rooms. Real esta...Expand for more
te is a rewarding job but a very demanding one and I was in need of a more routine job to be able to spend more time with my family and grand children. Working with our brave veterans everyday is rewarding and a job I look forward to doing everyday.
Military
I enjoyed being in the service. I made a lot of friends and some that I will never forget. I was able to go to Hawaii and that is one thing that I will never be able to do again. I got to see some of the world and it was very interesting. It was a wonderful experience and one that I would not change.
