School
As a Navy brat, I attended many a school...moving constantly. In fact, I went to four high schools during my freshman year. My fondest memories go back to 1&2 and 6&7th grades in Lakehurst NJ. I loved my school and loved my teachers. I have even been able to contact my old 6th grade teacher earlier this year. I recently went back to check out the old playground..boy did it look smaller than I remember!
College
I did not attend college right out of high school. I chose to wait until I was GOOD and READY. I attended LCC/UK in Lexington Kentucky and Southern Union State in Alabama. I bounce the thought of returning someday... back and forth in my brain....but have not done so yet....Lets get the daughter through it first...

Workplace
I remember my first job was at a Baskin Robbins store in Etown Ky. That was in 1977 - I made $1.90 per hour...boy oh boy...that was an eternity ago. My favorite job was with the Department of Defense for 10 yrs. Now, I choose to stay home and enjoy the support of my husband who works his tail off to keep me in the style in which I am accustomed...teehee. I have a beautiful 22 yr old daughter who manages a Party store and does promotional modeling while attending college. She moved out on her own last year and I now am an empty nester. I currently live in North Carolina. How about you???
Military
I did not sign an enlistment form...but I do consider my time served to be 13 years...as an Army wife to my ex husband. I lived in Texas, Bad Kissingen German, Schwienfurt Germany, Alabama and Kentucky. Europe was nice - spent 7 years there...Texas sucked. I hate bugs...scorpions and giant spiders were not my thing. I am happiest at the shore...any shore. Right now, I live within a mile from Lake Norman...the largest man made lake in NC. My goal is to live on the beach...one of these days.
