Teri's Story
After graduating from Southwest in 1978, went to U of M for a BA in Psychology. Worked for awhile, then law school at William Mitchell in St Paul, MN. After one fun & successful year there, started long-distance dating Steve who was introduced to me by a good friend. I took a big risk and moved to San Francisco where Steve was living (hardware design engineer-music industry). Attended summer session at USF Law, then quit to get married.
Married Steve in 1991, moved back to Mpls and bought a circa 1907 house in Uptown. We spent years updating & refurbishing the house all the while making some great friends...Expand for more
in the neighborhood. Then in 1993 I had a son, Samuel, my only child. He's now 19. I am the lucky mom of a kind, responsible, and musically talented young man.
In 2002 we moved to State College, PA, a beautiful, safe, scenic town although a little too conservative for my tastes. State College is a huge football town. Not being a sports fan, I nearly got run out of town!
After 20 years of marriage I'm now divorced, and moved back to Minneapolis in 2012. Never a dull moment! I stay in touch with my Southwest High "best friends" Laura Braley and Scott Michael. It's great to keep those connections going!
