Teri's Story
Life
4 dogs and a husband. No kids, but have a nephew that I spoil at every opportunity.
Started my own travel planning business - Far Away Places Travel - in 2000 to present, overlapping for 2 years with the end of my 17 years of Human Resource Management for large property/casualty insurance companies. The last 16 years (including last 4 years in HR) I have been able to telecommute, go to work in my pajamas and NOT have a steady paycheck! <G>

ounts. In this age of computers, I am able to not have storefront expenses and instead communicate by phone and email with clients around the US and even a few that live out of the country. Almost all of my business is referral business.
My leisure time is spent enjoying my hubby of 19+ years, seeing my immediate family that all live within 30 minutes, and spending time performing non-paid volunteer work coordinating over 400 volunteers for the local humane society, planning fundraisers for them, and in past spent some years serving on their Board of Directors.
