Teri's Story
Life
I graduated from Thomas Heyward and went to University of South Carolina Beaufort for 2 years and received my Associates Degree in Science. I then went to USC in Columbia for a year. I became a member of the Omega Phi Alpha service sorority. I then went to the Technical College of the Lowcountry and received my Certification as a Legal Assistant. While at TCL I got married to a wonderful man whom I started dating while I was still at USCB. He went to Iraq 3 weeks after we got married for 3 months. After he returned home, we renewed our wedding vows (since our wedding was planned over 3 days). After our renewal, I found out that I was pregnant. We now have built a house in Bluffton, and have a beautiful baby boy we named Michael. I am working for an ...Expand for more

College
After high school I attended USCB and graduated in 2001 with honors. I then went to USC for a year until I changed my major from Science to Law. I pledged and became a member of a service sorority named Omega Phi Alpha. I am so glad that I pledged and have made so many wonderful girls that I keep in touch with still today. When I left USC, I transferred to TCL and enrolled in their Paralegal program. I graduated in December and walked this May with High Honors with my Paralegal Certificate. I have just recently started back to school to get my Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies at Kaplan University. I am only taking 2 classes a term and should finish the beginning of 2008.
