Teri's Story
I am living here in Tulare right now, but I had moved quite a bit when I was younger. I have 5 children, two of my own and 3 step-children. I have a mini-doxie and a huge cat that are about as spoiled as my grandchildren! Between my kids and my husband Darrell's kids we wound up with 6 grandbabies, 4 boys and 2 girls. They are aged 1 1/2 years to 9 years. Boy that makes me feel old! We just finally bought a house here in Tulare. We lived in a duplex on M street for 11 and 1/2 years before we finally decided to buy.

s for a short time in the early 90's. I have been fortunate to be able to stay home and take care of my family. Of course, now its just me, Darrell and the animals. The kids are all grown. Our youngest will be 21 in July.
I am a cancer survivor. I had lung cancer. They removed my right lung, well most of it anyway, and I had to have chemotherapy for 5 months and then I had radiation for a couple of months. I have a compromised immune system and so get sick easily. But other than that I feel pretty good and I feel blessed to still be alive and able to enjoy my family and friends.
