My Spouse
No, I'm not married to Vanna White. (We're just good friends.)
I did the initial interview with my wife, Chris, when she applied for a job as a lawyer with my old firm. She got the job offer, and it was my responsibility to recruit her. The recruitment went well and we were married a year later.
My Pets
I have two Labrador Retrievers and a mutt that followed one of my sons home. Some people have suggested kindly that the mutt is a bit of a Golden Retriever. If so, he is the Danny DeVito of Golden Retrievers.

Fortunately, they all take after their mother -- except for their gender. The oldest graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 and is now working in the Department of Homeland Security in DC. Our middle son, having worked for a while in the real world, is back in school in the Pacific Northwest. Our youngest is a senior in high school, planning his next move.
My Job
I've worked my entire career in the health care field, as outside counsel. as in-house counsel, and for a time as a children's hospital CEO. It's never been boring.
