October 19th 2009 I have mixed feelings today. Life is just changing so fast & since I hate change, scary. SO much is changing. My dad, childhood home made over to look completely different, another neice coming in Jan, another child (the last) graduating and leaving for college..just prayers please, please.. oh yeah my phone died and all my saved numbers went with it. So give me a week and call me to give me your numbers again! Love you all! October 8, 2009 I no longer have a gold membership here so I can't see who signs in, etc. Wow, lots of water under the bridge from the last post. Daddy is hanging on and still fighting the cancer. But losing slowly. I hope for tons more time but I think we are in the stage of months only now. My daughter will be home in a few hours for the first time since she left for Tech. March 23, 2008 well, does anyone else want to tell me how to handle your first child graduating and going off to college. It is getting closer and I am getting increasingly ...ahh! about the idea. Daddy is having chemo today and we hope it is doing its job. I didn't even recognize my own fathers voice when I called yesterday. Not till he made a joke. It wasn't his voice but it was him. :o) Sheri's oldest boy is signing up to go into the air force. Man! this war needs to stop. But I really think it will never end at this point. This will most likely be our new world. Jesus come soon! Anyway - its all scary. Take care all. Dec 27, 2008 Hey Guys, My dad is having more pain in his chest. He is going to get another MRI soon. As always we are scaired to hear of any growth of the cancer. When I know the exact day of the test, etc.. I will post that. I hope everyone will pray for good results. All else is going well. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Terri October 12th Homecoming was great! The whole reunion that was planned for the class of 83 was so much fun. Someone told Kim Colson that they would put up a website of the reunion on the 80sdhs.com page. I know I have talked a lot about my dad and if some of you see that and wonder why "so much".. everyone else is fine. He is my heart - he is the one I worry about. My son was in a car that crashed on its way to our house to pick up his I.D. for the homecoming dance. No one was hurt but he and his friend passed on returning to the dance. There are plans to have semi-annual lunches/suppers planned for graduates from all classes of DHS to socialize so we can meet up with other people from different classes and see them also. I will post anything I know of. Just check out the website. October 10th HOMECOMING!! My dad got a good report from the doctor. No new growth in the lymph nodes. They are the same. Tonight Sheri and I will be at Denison's Homecoming game sitting with our graduating class. Hope to see some of you there! :o) _________________________________ Sept 25, 2008 My father gets his imaging (MRI, cat scan - whatever it is) done today. We get the results Oct 1st. His lymph nodes are what I need prayers on. They are full of cancer. Were it not for that he could almost claim remission. The tumor has not grown. Please pray for him. Homecoming is approaching and I am going. My daughter is graduating this year and her homecoming is the same weekend so I am not sure how I will do both - but I will try.
