Terri's Story
I married in 1982, and divorced in 1987. I have one son Jake who was born in 1983. He will be 27 in May. In July of 2000, the summer before his senior year in high school (he was 17) he was hanging out at the 'ole city beach with his friends. He decided to do a running dive into the water and suffered a spinal cord injury at the c5-6 level. He is now paralyzed from the chest down and in a power wheelchair. He lives in Minneapolis in a group home now and loves it there. There is a website with his story if anyone is interested. Just ask me for it.

working as an office manager for 18 years now at a small company in Oconomowoc. I also run a sewing business on the side, have remodeled my entire house (only 1 room left!) and enjoy working in the garden.
I also enjoy shooting pool and love to go visit Jake and his housemates. My boyfriend Jeff and I have been together for almost 7 years now. I was shooting pool league downtown and he literally begged me to be his pool partner. We've been inseparable ever since.
I'm thoroughly enjoying life now more than ever because I'm finally doing things for myself.
