After high school graduation, (or should I say "during" graduation, because I missed it), I worked for an Arabian Horse Trainer out of Peoria, IL. I left there in the fall to attend UW-River Falls where I graduated with a BS in Animal Science - Equine Emphasis. After graduating from college, I ended up in Shawano, WI, where I worked for a surveyor until I started raising a family, which eventually led me to my career in Real Estate in 1987. I have been selling Real Estate in the Shawano area now for over 31 years. I became very active in the Shawano community and the Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board of Directors for 6 years, and serving as the Chamber of Commerce President in 2001. I chaired several events in the area, including the Shawano Folk Festival, Northern Exposure, and the Chamber's annual golf outing, just to name a few. I had fun and it fit great with my career in Real Estate. I am currently married to my "best friend", Charlie Ptaschinski, and I have 2 daughters (both married now), 2 step-daughters, and a step-son and their spouses, Together we have 4 grandchildren with one on the way! Our 5th granddaugher (It's a GIRL) is expected to arrive the same weekend of our Class Reunion, so I am hoping that the child is either early or late!
