Terri's Story

Life I got married in August of 2003. I married Steven Melvin, who graduated in 2000. We have a beautiful baby boy named Alex. You can find his picture in the "Then" photo spot. Possibly one of the best things to happen to me! I work at Regions Mortgage as a PSA (Production Sales Assistant). You can read all my goings on on my live journal at livejournal.com under my username tmelvin. School I was pretty shy in high school. I sang in the chamber choir all 3 years. I really don't think people knew me very well or they would have seen that I am not shy or quiet AT ALL... College I went to Jeff State for one semester and hated it. So I decided to take some time off. I ended up going to Southeastern Bible College and left after a year. I am a college drop out twice over! Of course now that I have a son and can not afford college, I want to go back and finish! My major was Elementary Education. And I never got far eno...Expand for more
ugh to really enjoy it. Workplace I started out working for an accountant right out of high school. Then I went to Eddie Beaur for a little hwile. Finally I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and became the customer service manager. I was there for a good while and went to Regions bank to be a teller. I have been there for about two and half years now. I have moved from the teller line to the mortgage department and love it. I basically put files together and answer phones and trouble shoot for the loan officers. it is an easy job, but it gives me really good experience in the professional world. Military The only military experience I have is being an Army Wife. My husband is in the Army National Guard. His unit has served one tour of duty in Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. I was here waiting for him. We got engaged during his tour of duty. Please pray for all of our troops over seas and their families at home!
