I moved to the OC back in 1989, the same year I married my husband. We love life here in Southern CA and feel very fortunate to live where we do. I'm working for a small designer jewelry company as their Human Resources Manager. For the first time in a very long while, I can honestly say that I love my job.

also been blessed with step-grandchildren. Although we don't say the grandma word...I am Nana. ;-)
I have not been back to Berthoud years and then it was only for the funeral of my father. I do dream sometimes about the simple life of so long ago where you could leave your doors unlocked and windows open at night. Then I wake up to the Southern California reality! Life was very different back then and I look back with fondness and some very bittersweet memories.
