Terri's Story
Life
I never would have thought I would be writing my life bio at 30, but here it goes. After High School I went into nursing school in Saskatoon. I graduated in '94 and shortly after started working at Royal University Hospital on one of the pediatric units. In '95 Georges and I were married. June of '97 we moved to Yellowknife so Georges could persue his career in geophysics. February 5, 2000 we were blessed with a son, Timothy. Although fifteen weeks early, he was a fighter. ve worked on the pediatric unit at the hospital there, taught nursing at Aurora College and most recently have taken a part-time position with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut as their Assistant Registrar. We love the easy going lifestyle Yellowknife has to offer. There is beauty all around, even in the winter at 40 below! The winters are long, but we do make several trips to visit family and take vacations each year. I enjoy scrapbooking and photography when I have spare time! I am currently working on my nursing degree by distance through the University of Victoria.
