Terry's Story
Life
Hello friends, it's been a long time and we have all changed in more than one way. After highschool I attended Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, and graduated with an AS in Accounting. I married Vern Taylor, screwed that up, then re-married. During that time, I also attended Cal State Hayward and received my BA in Biology/Ecology & Natural History. I am now married to Tim Lunsford, a graduate of Clayton Valley HS, we have two boys(16 and 14), and live in Clayton Calif (that's right, I'm still in Contra Costa). I am a stay at home mom, aspiring children's book writer, and work part-time as an independent rep for a Health & Wellness Co. called Visalus. It's a great company, helped me lose weight and stay fit, and we are paid well. If any of you are having a hard time in your life, I firmly believe that if you give control of your life over to God, your life will change for the better. If I had understood that concept while married to Vern we would probably still be together. For those of us who didn't grow up learning good moral values, making decisions on our own could be disastrous at times. But when you let God make or influence those decisions for you, you will find your morals living up to higher standards and fewer life changing mistakes will be made. Good luck to you in life.
I enjoy scrapbooking (CreativeMemories), going to the movies, reading books and spending time with family & friends. I enjoy working out and staying fit and helping others do the same through Visalus. We have 2 pugs & 1 Yorkie mix, and 3 sheep. I think you all know who my biggest crush was so nuff said on that. The teacher's who inspired me the most were Mrs. Pearson and Coach Ainsworth, but I have fond memories of many others, such as Kathy Rhinehart, Patsy Fine, Mrs. Nielsen, Mrs. Maher, Steve coccimiglio, and many more. I remember all the sports road trips on the bus-super fun. Being able to try all the sports and even cheerleading was a great experience for me that I might otherwise have never experienced at a larger school. I remember a crazy school memory of us girls on the basketball team going to Coach Ainsworth's house and trying to TP him, but getting caught in the act. He and Paulette invited us in for Hot Cocoa-what a guy. Anyone remember the blind spots behind the lockers, in between classes. Many a kiss was had back there, out of view of the teachers (bad kids). How about proms at Crow Canyon Country club-all dressed up with the ones we loved. I also remember a camping trip, without parents, that some of us went on without our parents knowing we were without any parents--ooohh we were so bad- and Jaime's parents found out and wanted her to come back home. Boy was that trouble! Just wait until our kids are that age-now we know we need to talk to other people's parents to make sure our kids are really doing what they tell us they will be doing. Ahhhh, those were the days. What memories. So much fun, so many friends, so many good memories. Take care all of you and hope to hear from you soon.
