Terry's Story
Life
I currently have a home on the lake in Chattanooga, TN. I have a furniture import business that keeps me very busy with travel and the normal needs of a busy company. I have four fantastic children, Brian 29, Melissa 25, Jennifer 21, and Faye 19. My son Brian works in our business as a senior account representative. I am single and comfortable with the fact. After being in the service, I got a job at Lloyd's Furniture in Montclair. I never left the industry. I started my business in 1994 and we are now an international import, export company. I have a good life and I am enjoying it.
I was extremely bored in high school and I did not graduate with my class. I dropped out and joined the Navy in 1965. I finished high school while in service. I relieved my self of all boredom during the Vietnam War. When I returned, I went on to college for my degree in business. I married a girl I met who was working in Hawaii. Biran and Melissa are the product of that marriage. After twelve years,...Expand for more
we divorced. I met a wonderful woman through business connections and we married several years later. We have two more great kids, Jennifer and Faye. Although I am divorced from both wives, we all maintain a strong relationship and are still close and speak often. I was blessed with children who never had any real problems and all excelled in school or are currently doing well in school. When I do have some "down time" I play golf, swim or bycycle. We have a large piece of property that is on a lake and my son and I fish in the afternoon when business permits. For fun, since I travel so much, I plan extra time for myself to discover new places off the beaten track. I particularly enjoy learning about different cultures and sharing ideas and opinions with people with different lifestyles and outlooks. Specially China, which seems to be torn between hard core communism and a vibrant new, capiltolositic society. I also enjoy finding that "special" restaurant that no one has discovered yet.
