Terry's Story

Life Has been a loooong time ... but to put this as simply as possible ... was married in 1976, widowed in 1996, moved to Texas in February of 1996. Have raised two daughters, Ruth and Gina ... both of which are my heart, and am very proud of them!! Since being here in Texas, have gone back to school, beome an RN, work at a local nursing home ... and actually have a life!! My Mother always told me "life begins at 40" ... darned if she wasn't right!! Hope to hear from some of you very soon ... take care ... hope the years have been kind and very fruitful for each of you!! New news ... remarried in 2002. Found Roger Burt in 2000, in Belton, Texas, decided to see him, the rest is history ... have been together ever since. After getting married we moved back to Virginia ... we ADORE it here in Reedville ... our home backs up to Cockrell's Creek ... we both...Expand for more
love the water, and is just a perfect spot for us. "Our" kids have blended well, James, Justin, Jason, Ruth and Gina ... the only one living here is Ruth, she is married (got married in 2003), and has a son, Rian ... our first Grandson ... needless to say, he is the apple of our eyes ... and totally spoiled rotten ... being "Anma" and "Poppie" suits us perfectly!! The other four kids are still living in Texas, James married in July, 2005. He and his wife, Marissa, live in Waco and teach music in the Moody School District. Justin is completing his Geology Degree at Steven F. Austin, in Nacgdoches, and Jason is completing his Computer Sciences Degree at UT, San Antonio. Gina followed my path, is a Nurse, adores her job, lives in Copperas Cove. We are very proud of ALL the kids ... thank goodness they ALL have grown up and become responsible young adults.
