Terry's Story

Hard to imagine it has now been 37 years since BHS days....can it really be??!!..WOW! Those were some great days and fun times....long ago. I get back to good old Bothell a couple times a year, live in Atlanta, GA area since mid-80s. Still crazy about motorcycles and motocross just like "back in the day" Busy IT career professional travel all over the world, but the bikes keep me sane. Three great kids, 29, 18, 16 - and remarried a wonderful younger woman this past year, life is good!!! I used to work in Bellevue, WA when I started my IT career in 1978, two floors above our data communications company was this little 8 person firm called "Microsoft" HA what a story that is. Now, 34 years later I have done a lot in IT and am a Sr. Consultant with HP and travel a lot. Still good friends with Doug Evans, since WA Anderson days! He and I have been friends since 6th grade, and still hang out. Went to the 30th reunion and saw lots of classmates. Some changed a lot, some not so much. Those BHS days were a great time in life....so many memories of fun times, marching band, hanging out at Artic Circle, and var...Expand for more
ious parties, my first car VW bug, "the cove", motorcycle riding and camping in eastern Washington: Mattawa desert race, camping and riding the "coal hills" at Cle Elum, Startup MX and Puyallup Raceway Park, and the Bothell wrecking crew in motocross racing. Binkley's, Elledge, McCaffery, and quite a few others. After High School some great, memorable young adult years too, The 70s & early 80s, and the Aquarius, WESMAR, Harris DataComm, and work friends from then I won't ever forget. Living in Ballard, Woodinville, Auburn, and other old haunts - those were some great carefree times with little responsibilities and ohh to be 21 again, sigh, what memories! HA. Well, Bothell and the entire eastside area have grown so much, but when I get back to Bothell I walk around the Westhill area and remember all the fun and friends we had, and what a great place and time it was to grow up in. Can it REALLY have been 37 years ago??? I cannot get around how much time has flown!! Life goes on, but the memories of Bothell, BHS years and the fun times in the class of 1975 growing up in a simpler, great time will be there all my days.

A constant in my life for 47 years. Been true the entire time.

The number of memories and friendships made at the motocross track is unrivaled in any other aspect of my life.
I woke up this morning and I was 60! I can't believe time has marched by so fast. In my mind I'm still a 17 year old kid, but my body is starting to tell me otherwise.

But i'm Truely blessed with a great wife and g
