ght. Be a warrior. clime up 100' foot rope. swing over water. walk on a rope bridge salute those who were higher in rank than me. taking orders from leaders and DI's I was ready to begin my training to be a aircraft refueler. I spent 5 weeks learning to be the best at what I do. dispense fuel to aircraft of different types. from f100's to kc98's to b52's. all in the name of freedom. I enjoyed it very much. life was starting to be a blast of helping get those aircraft in the air. We would wait log hours till they came home to do it all over again. I still remember marching to the hospital for KP. in boot camp. 10 mile one way. just to find out they did not need us. getting lost after a movie when we had base privligages one night. to goijng to church on Sunday mornings. this is what I learned there to be polite to everyone. esp the ladys that I meet. Making my body do things that were hard for me to do before basic trainng. run and strong at the sametime a man, not a boy at 18.
