Life Left Anch Oct 15 '64 in 1 foot of 1st snow, drove down by Sacto CA in 5 days to see my Mom, was suppose to come back in 1 yr, but got into Pipefitters Union & had to do 5yr Apprentice Schooling. So I got stuck there......live in a log cabin at 4500'elevation in the Cascade Mtns by Ashland Oregon now. My always good mails are terrayusa at the hot mail. My Pets He's not a pet, big mistake is people thinking they can make a Wolf a pet or watch dog...... My Kids Grown up now School I was a NCO Army brat, was in Anch at ages of 1 to 4 at ACS at old Army Air Corp Base on Goverment Hill. Was at Fairbanks High (only school there at that time, can remember watching freshmen being forced to push marbles across playground with their nose by the seniors at start of 4th grade) in afternoon shift for 3rd to 5th grades, Post was ACS by Ladd AFB. Then at St Margaret in Seattle for 6th grade, post was Ft Lawton. Then was at Central Junior High in fall of '56 in 7th grade until we got quarters at ACS by gate 3 at Elmendorf AFB, then was at Aurora Elementary 7th to 8th grade on Elmendorf. Then at Anch High for 9th grade afternoon shift '58 to '59. I may have put grad year there as '59, truth is I was there in 9th grade afternoon split shift, the Very last graduation year at Anchorage High School was in Fact 1961. Then at St. Joseph in Petersburg, Virginia, post was at Ft Lee, for 10th to start of 12th grade, then came back to Anch about Oct. 15, 1961 at Anch High aka West High for afternoon...Expand for more
