Terry's Story
I'm fast reaching the point where I can remember HS events better than what happened yesterday.
My 4 children, Erin, Kyle, Bryan and Kelsey, are all now older than I was when I graduated.
I, somewhat happily, had all four children in college at the same time during the 08-09 school year. If not for the masters' study of my oldest, we'd have missed this "all in" education opportunity. As they remind me, it's an "investment", not a "cost".
Down to 2 in school now. Erin rec'd her Masters of Divinity in Dec 09. and is now a Minister in Oregon with her husband, Pete. They are expecting their first child in Oct 2011. ME - a Grandma! Go figure. Ky...Expand for more
le is in banking - working his way up to that unseemly bonus status :-). Bryan is at VCU majoring in IS/economics and Kelsey is majoring in art therapy in the Social Services school.
I remarried on 7-7-07 (apparently along with 38,000 other couples). As Erin reminds me, "God always has a 'Plan B'." We live in a log home in Boonsboro, MD. I continue to commute to the DC area to work. (120 mile daily round trip).
I always wanted to be a teacher and/or artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were halfway right.
My career aspiration at this point is to get out of this job alive and well.
