Terry's Story
The 40th anniversity of the moon landing and Woodstock brought back some good but short memories of where I lived at the time of those historic events. I lived at the Norwalk Manor on Geronimo Lane. I went to Wright Junior High in the eight grade and John Glenn in the 9th and part of the 10th grade before moving to a new town called Cerritos (Dairy Valley), if your looking for me in your year books try 1969-1970.When my parents divioced many of my photos and yearbooks were lost. While living at the Manor I hung out with Jose Castaneda, Wagner Salazar, Gary Marks, Tom Fergueson, Randy Rogers, Gary Morgan, Menissa Hall, Julie Zachary, Sherry Box, Chris and Corrine Settles,The Rubios, and The Recios. At Wright I also hung out with Joe Foley, Freddie De Rivis, Mike Landrum, Alex Vargas, Art Contreas,Keith Roberts Rena Crawford, Candy Lloyd, Pam Long, Mary Ann Gilbert, Patty Warnol. While at John Glenn I remember Lori Leckbee, Jessie Pacheco, Pete Eisenbrenner, Skip Mouty, Vince Padia, Rueben Peruzzi, Steve Deal, Jim Jardine, Jerry Box And the others mentioned above from the Manor and Wright.I started my partying ways at the Manor. With our allowances put together we could afford the best wines like Red Mountain, Spenada, Boonesfarm,Bali-Hi, Ripple. With the Statue of Limitations expired I would like to now thank the Halls, Rubios, and especialy the Recios for letting us party at their homes. It was also a time of my life where I experimented with magic games like spin the bottle that y...Expand for more

Back in October 5, 1969 Gary Marks, me, and others went to what was billed as the Rolling Stones last American concert appearence before their retirement at the Forum. In 1970 my partying got me into the Woif Creek Job Corps up in Glide, Oregon where I got experienced in welding. In 1971 I took and passed the GED exam. I came out in 1972 joined the Laborers Union until 1973 were there was an opening in the pipefitters union. In 1974 I joined the United Association of Steam & Refridgeration pipefitters Union, and for the last ten years I been proud and honored to be elected by our membership and re-appointed three times to serve the members as their Business Represenative/ Political Director for Local 250.I've been clean and sober since 1988. In the Profile photo above which happens to be the only photo I could transfer from L-R are my mother-in-law Corinne, my wife of 32 years Linda,me,my 95 year young grandmother, and my Aunt Carol.Linda and I never had any children, but we love our dogs.We live in a cottage type home in Belmont Shore a small area in Long Beach, Ca.My wife shows Bull Terriers and travels to almost every state in the country. In closing congrats to those that survived the sixties & 70's. And for those no longer here God Bless. If anyone that reads this can bring back a memory of our time at the Manor, Wright, or Glenn I'd love to know it
