Terry Wessinger:  

Life Where to begin. Has it been almost twenty-five years since high school? After high school I joined the navy. Spent a year in Florida and three years in California, where I saw some of the world. Met a wonderful lady Barbara and was married in 1986. We came back to Cayce where she went to USC's School of Law and I started Midlands Tech. I had also joined the naval reaserves. After receiving my AS I transfered to USC and received a BS in Biology and Psychology. After working for a couple of environmental companies I secured a chemist position with the SCDA as the petroleum laboratory supervisor. I then went back to USC to pursue a MSPH in environmental quality. Barbara and I had our first child Myles in July 1997 and two months later I was diagnosed with NHL. The naval reserves tried to find me medically unqualified and discharge me. After my chemo treatments and remission I decided to join the SCARNG. In October 1999 we had our second child Trenton.
