Terry's Story
Life
I am living in Peachtree City, Georgia and have been since 1979. I was the Chief Information Officer for the Garrison at Fort McPherson. I retired on 2 March 2002. I have been married since 1970 and have one son.
School
There were two teachers that inspired me to do more than I thought I was capable of - Mrs. Nash and Mrs. Sawyer. Mrs. Nash seemed to know when I needed an extra word of encouragement and Mrs. Sawyer instilled my love of English, especially literature.

ow at APSU. William Bailey entered a bust of Douglas McArthur. He displayed it in a case made to look like a coffin. A woman came through and thought it was a real head and fainted. Needless to say, William was asked to remove the bust!
My first job was at a gas station on Madison Ave, where I got paid 50 cents an hour to pump gas, clean windows and change oil. What I remember most about it is the sofa inside that we were never allowed to sit on because of a bet the owner had with one of his friends.
