Terry's Story
After college, I worked in the Investment Accounting department at Allstate insurance Companie's headquarters in Northbrook. I worked there for almost 31 years before retiring in 2012 at age 54. Never married, nor did my 3 brothers and 1 sister. Mom passed away at age 80 with no grandkids. Now live in my own house in Vernon Hills with 3 ca...Expand for more
ts and 9 ferrets. I do volunteer work two days a week at a ferret shelter. I am doing very well financially after a taking a huge lump sum pension at age 55 and Social Security at age 62. . Dated very little due to shyness with women and never really wanted to get married and have kids. Maybe that is how I was able to retire at 54 years old.
