Attended U of A 1940 to 1942. Drafted into Army December, 1942. Served in US Army Air Force January, 1943 to February, 1946. Returned to Uof A fall of 1946, graduated May, 1948. Maqrried while in service, First daughter born while I was Junior at U of A. Attended LSU 1948 to 1950; received MS degree in May, 1950. Attended Texas A&M February, 1950 to May 1952. er born 1960 in Leland MS, where I ended my career. My wife of 54+ years died on an operating table in Feb. of 1999. December 1, 2003, I moved from Leland to Duluth, GA, where I live in an apartment not far from my youngest daughter and three granddaughters. Keep busy here playing golf, square dancing, and helping my daughter with various projects in her home. Also travel a lot. Drove to Alaska two years ago. Have driven in all 50 states. Took 3 cruises last year. Looking forward to more travel and cruises in the future.
