Theresa's Story
Now 2023, I have been in my field now since 2003 and am grateful to have finished my Ph.D. in 2016. The years fly by and we are quickly recognizing that we are essential to the fabric of the world around us.
In 2016 I completed the successful defense of my Dissertation, "THE PROCESS OF OVERCOMING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OVER TWO - THREE GENERATIONS: A GROUNDED THEORY INVESTIGATION". The MSCC program at CMU is both CACREP and digitally delivered now so I was able to move closer to all my babies and grandbabies in Missouri!
While we may continue to lose family members from the Glenbard North clan... so many of us are blessed. May you each find your path and may you and the people you love experience love and acceptance. Take care, everyone!

Remember we are each a pebble in the pond of life rippling out with our actions to touch all of humanity for the good or for the bad... Your choices are what make it all happen.
High School
My best memories from high school are the wonderful friends I made and the teachers who made learning worthwhile!
College
The best memories I have from college were the connections I made with my professors and the other students and their ability to show me that each one of us has a limitless number of possibilities available to us and definitely of our own choosing.
New Adventures?
I have tried all sorts of new foods... on a wellness journey. Working on maintaining healthy living and enjoying teaching at the graduate level. (which I love) . ... I quit smoking in 2005, 18 years ago, and I am thankful every day! .. it is a daily journey to finding better ways to explore and be a better me ;-)
