I'm still married to my loving husband Emrick.He was, is & ALWAYS will be the love of my life, & I AM HIS. He's the father to our son, grandfather to our grandchildren & my best friend.It will be 38 years (this fall) when we met & started seeing each other & we are STILL going strong & love each other more with everyday. My HUSBAND & I literally grew up together by helping each other through life's challenges both individually & as a couple. We defeated THOSE WHO TRIED BUT FAILED MISERABLY to come between us. Yes, we dated others whrn we had issues, even cared for some. But, we BOTH KNEW, we were destined to be together.We comforted each other when we lost loved ones through the years. We support each other when we know the other is feeling weak or down.We've forgiven each other for PAST MISTAKES & poor decisions as we matured & grew into the MUCH wiser adults & COUPLE we are today.We are each other's greatest cheerleaders & safe place when we need comfort. He ALWAYS makes me feel safe, loved & satisfied with choices we've made through the years TOGETHER as a COUPLE & FAMILY. I knew, when we met (I was 12, he 13 years old) HE WAS THE ONE. He was MY knight in shining armor then & STILL makes my heart skip a beat after all these years. We have faced trials,tribulations & difficulties & we've had our share of life's lessons. Certain individuals even TRIED AND FAILED to come in between us and tear OUR FAMILY apart, their names AREN'T WORTH MENTIONING & I won't taint my story with them anyway. But, he knows how much I love him & the family we created. He knows my faith in him & in "US" is unwavering even after all these years. He was the raw, handsome, musically talented "bad ass" with a reputation that the guys envied & the girls went crazy over.
