Life
Hi guys!
A little info about my life since graduation......I started Nicholls the summer of '83 and was playing music in my first band "Athena". I loved playing music more than college, so, unfortunately, I dropped out of school to persue my music carreer. After "Athena" split, I joined a group called "Fragile" which didn't work out for me....we were definitely not on the "same page" as far as taste in music: So, I started a job at "Judy's Arts and Crafts" framing pictures, etc... Then, my oldest brother recruited me into a group called "Affinity" somewhere around '85. I stayed with that group until '89 and also decided to go back to Nicholls to get my priorities straight! "Affinity" was so much fun...a great experience!! Hey Celeste....remember those days???? Anyway....we decided to go "country", and became "Young Country". That lasted a few months. ween 1989 and 1992, the band broke up, I had my first child, Kaylen, and received my degree in Respiratory Therapy. I worked at Terrebonne General (full time) and St. Anne General (part time) from '92-'94, then was hired on full time at St. Anne in '94. I've been working at St. Anne General since, and love it there. I got married in '95 to my husband, Mark Chiasson. He's from Thibodaux. We have a daughter together, Alayna, and he adopted my son, Kaylen when we were married. My son is a junior at CLHS...I can't believe I have a child at CL!!!!! My daughter is in the 4th grade at St. Mary's. She'll probably go to CLHS her freshman year. We live in Raceland near the hospital....very convenient for me!!! Anyway, I think that just about covers my life story since we graduated.
