Theresa's Story
At the end of my junior yr, I got married, had 4 kids. Went to work. Got divorced. Worked in the rest/bar business for a quite a few yrs (some of the oldies..Bombshelter, Satellite, B.R. Country Club, Reef, Fogcutter, and a couple others) While raising kids, I went back for my diploma, where I was greeted by .. MR. LYNCH! He made it a point to say "I remember YOU!" I then went to SC4 for my LPN. Used this at Mercy Hosp, returned to school for my ADN, and started Home Care Nursing, for Mercy Home Care and now for VNA. I love home care. It gives me the chance to really be in touch w/ the patient and their families. I've bee...Expand for more
n doing this since 1992. Did retire (2 x's). It just doesn't take. I now work contingent, at Blue Water Hospice Home, so am able to control my sched. and days. It's the best of both worlds; the option of working a little and have my own time. Live in Ft. Gratiot w/ my spouse, Wayne, dog and cat. We are boaters and wave runners, w/ our boat down behind Lixie's for 18 yrs. A lot of Mackinac parties down there! Best way to relax..go up in the lake on the boat and float down. Best pick me up..go out into the "big river" on the wave runner and jump a few freighter wakes.
15 Grandchildren, 5 gr. grands..whew. The world does go on.
