Theresa's Story
I am Theresa Skelly Polis. I graduated HS in 1971 from Escambia HS. From there, I graduated from Pensacola Jr. College School of Nursing and thereafter became a registered nurse. I worked 15 yrs as a med/surg RN, then I proceded to ICU. I have worked 27 yrs as a Critical Care RN. I have achieved accreditation as CCRN for the last 5 yrs from the AACN. n. A great deal of that has to do with my life and schooling at St. Thomas More. I believe that time in my life definitely paved the way to bring me to where I am today. I thought at one time I would never say I was gratefull for being there, but I absolutely do say so now. I learned more there than words can say. More than anything else, I learned what the meaning of compassion is. Hopefully, I'll be able to make some reconnections via this website. TSP
