Theresa's Story

I currently work for a social service non-profit agency in Elizabeth. I manage a training program for people with physical disabilities. I love my job and the interaction I have with people throughout the state. I am a single mother to a wonderful little boy who keeps me quite busy. s. Before becoming a mother, I never realized how much you could love another person. In May of 2009, I received my associated degree in business from Union County College. It took me 6 years! But I went to college throughout my pregnancy and even was back in school a week after delivering my son! Hopefully I'll be able to go back to school soon and get my bachelors in accounting, which is my plan.
