Thom's Story
Life
After graduation, went off to college for four great years. Graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1988 and went to work for the City of Los Angeles in Human Resources. After 18 years in the HR Field, I was transferred to a new career. Currently I am the Commanding Officer of LAPD's Facilities Management Division - where we have more than $1 Billion in construction happening, including the NEW LAPD Headquarters. Very involved in amateur rodeo - travel around the country to work in rodeos and know some of the nicest people on the planet.

left in Eagle Rock? Had so much fun growing up here, I moved back after college (the short commute to work doesn't hurt either)
College
What can I say about college - the best four years of my life. Great people, great times, and I miss the friends.
Workplace
Started with the City of Los Angeles, Community Development Department in 1988, in Personnel. Have worked in the personnel field in the Housing Department and Department of Public Works before going to the LAPD in 1993. In 2006, moved from the world of managing people to managing the buildings they work in.
