Thom's Story
Entered Air Force as a medic after graduation. Stationed in northern California for 2 years at Travis AFB where I met my wife. Got sent to Germany for two years (married the last 6 months I was there). Left Air Force to attend Univ of Fla where I got my degree in Nursing. Went back into the Air Force and was stationed in Tampa for 3 1/2 years. Sent to Anesthesia school at the Medical College of Virginia. When finished, stationed in Southern calif for 3 1/2 years at which time I left the Air Force. 1 year in practice in Indiana, then went to University of Tennessee where I taught and practiced anesthesia for 4 years. Moved to Ohio in 1994 where we have lived ( with a 1 year hiatus to New Hampshire which I loved and everyone else hated). Back to Columbus Ohio-primary practice is Obstetrical anesthesia. oth boys live in Columbus so a bit of golf for me. Do a lot of bicycling to try to stay in shape. Lots to do in Columbus--can never claim that life is boring. I have been richly blessed with a good life and family. Still remember Ocala and Vanguard High days fondly. Wish anyone reading this all the best-feel free to write.
