Life Those of you who knew me back in high school might remember that I was into wilderness survival training courses like Outward Bound. I finished Colorado Outward Bound School and went into Fisk University pledging Kappa Alpha Psi. I was determined to make my mark as a News Broadcaster/DJ...it actually worked for a while 'til I discovered I didn't like the newsroom. I spent 15 years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas after getting a degree in English and a second BA in Speech & Dramatics from Fisk. Out in LA I got a Teaching Certificate at Cal State Dominguez Hills and started teaching in Compton (High School English). A major earthquake moved me to Vegas where I had a very successful business in garment graphics (frat & sorority paraphernalia)but left it all behind to move to Texas after a divorce. In Houston I got a Masters from U of H Clearlake in Instructional Technology which I used to design Astronaut Training at NASA. I've been out here in Houston Independent School District working toward a certification in training teachers how to integrate technology into their courses. Women..?
