Thomas's Story

Workplace After graduating from DePauw University, I served in the Peace Corps in Malaysia. Then I lived and worked in Japan for about 25 years. I married a Japanese lady and we had two daughters. For a while, I was making a good six figures working for TIME Inc., but I gave it up...Expand for more
to move back to the United States and start my own publishing company. I often think of myself as "semi-retired," which means I can't hold a day job. I continue to publish life stories and personal histories for others, although I'm still not sure what I want to be when I grow up.
