Thomas's Story
Life
Currently the senior medical officer for the US Coast Guard (CG) in Southern California. I live in Phoenix AZ and commute weekly back and forth. Am divorced with two wonderful children, but getting re-married to an awesome women with three beautiful children on April 21. I am an emergency medicine physician and still teach emergency medicine when I go "home" on weekends to stude...Expand for more
nts, interns, and residents. As well as teach tactile medicine to CG personnel. I still love medicine and teaching it and when I retire from the CG in 2009 will continue to work and teach in AZ.
Being in the CG has been a great job. I have travelled on a tall ship to Europe, done flight medicine, and gone out on rescues (yes like in the movie).
