Thomas's Story
Thinking about my life:
1958-64: Wanda School: Pine Wood Derby, Boy Scouts (Rifle River), Outdoor Education (sold soap), flag football, Christmas plays, banquets, my mother's piano playing, my father.
1962-1963: Lived in Manistee, MI for two years. Learned to swim, fish, times tables, and snow shovel.
1958-66: Wanda Park: FOP, Armstrongs, hockey, softball, tether ball, dancing.
1965-66: Junior High School- 7th Grade: Initiations, the embrace of a precocious 8th grade female, clothing, football games, golf at Palmer Park and Rackham, Tiger baseball games. 8th grade: popularity, girls, friends, Detroit News delivery route.
HPHS: 9th and 10th grade- felt out of place (immature), strived to identify the successful behaviors of older students, worked at Plum Hollow and Detroit Golf Clubs- inside and out.
11th grade: Excellent year- prepared for CMU, had driver¿s license, steady girlfriend, went to prom.
12th grade: Excellent year- Student Council, girlfriend in college, made excellent money working at the Club Berkley.
1970-76: Did three terms at CMU in Mt. Pleasant, MI. Graduated with distinction from WSU in Detroit, while working at Chevrolet Gear and Axel. Received three achievement awards.
1977-78: Traveled for two years representing an educational publisher that was located in Knoxville, TN. The company merged with a Swedish publisher, and was later bought by Time-Warner. My accounts included many Midwestern universities and colleges.
1979: Started an air, land, and sea photographic company while working as a custom photographic printer.
1980-2000: Became an asset manager involved with irrevocable family trust accounts. Created an intricate stock purchase/ sale spreadsheet based on an investment philosophy known as ¿Value.¿

ructor primarily for the certification, and traveled internationally- video taping underwater music videos. (Although originally sold they are currently unavailable.) Visited Europe several times photographing still images, particularly landscapes and flowers. Needed an extension for my passport.
2001- Present: Studied Objectivism and began writing. Wrote a theory of light, and an idea to organize the Internet for an electronic meeting using Parliamentary procedure. (These writings are currently unavailable online, although they were originally published.)
Currently compiling evidence to reconcile natural science with writings contained in The Holy Bible.
Currently compiling evidence related to light, audio phenomena, extra sensory perception, telepathy, and the paranormal.
Goals: To provide local historical photography to a central repository in DVD format.
To acquire demographic information related to deaths: suicide, accidents, insanity, and addiction.
Personal: Unmarried, no children, uncle to six nieces and nephews, a son to my mother, and a brother and brother-in-law, to my family.
My contribution to Classmates generally is to be read-only, primarily due to current time restriction and the nature of my work.
It is my belief that memories do have value, should be recorded, and that charitable contribution is honorable.
In the ebullient spirit of the late, Mrs. Morelle Earp, please accept my sincere appreciation and acknowledgement for your historical insights.
It is my belief that there is a God of love and light, and that we are loved unconditionally and eternally.
It is also my belief that what God expects from us is our faith and our gratitude.
Thank you for the time that you consumed to read this.
Respectfully,
Thomas J. Canu
