Thomas's Story
Tom is from Rockford, Illinois, and now resides in Poland, Ohio, with his wife, Elaine. Together they have three scattered married daughters (and eight grandchildren). His schools include East Rockford High School (class of 1963), and prior to this: Abraham Lincoln Junior High School, C. Henry Bloom Elementary School, and John Nelson Elementary School. He later attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, acquiring BS (1967) and MS (1972) degrees, both in Ceramic Engineering. He also attended North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois (1968-1969). It was a great year for him, but he was wise enough---thank God---to stop right there!
He worked as a Supervisor of Ceramic Engineering and Quality Control, and then as Chief Engineer, in manufacturing corporations in Illinois and Ohio. In the early 80's he made a career change, entering sales work in the Insurance Business, and then, in conjunction with TPA's, designed and implemented partially self-funded programs to assist companies in meeting their health ...Expand for more

As a fun side note: For those who still enjoy pop/rock music, you may wish to look into the music of Cliff Richard, well-known throughout the world, EXCEPT in the USA. He once received the title of "The Best Known Unknown Singer in the USA." He's been continuously going at it since 1958, just a couple of years after Elvis first started doing his thing. He's easy to find on You Tube, for those of you who enjoy the finer things in life. ("Cliff RICHARD," without an "s" ending.) I know you will enjoy his music, but probably not half as much as I do, ever since 1963. And that's OK, but what a shame. ;-)
