Thomas's Story
Life
After 4 years at Mount Union College, I put in 4 plus years in the Army Security Agency. While in the service, I was stationed in Fort Dix, NJ, Fort Devens, MA, Ft. Meade, MD, a year at Shemya AFB, Alaska (That's in the Aluetians), and finally 2+ years in Chitose, Japan, where I met and married my first wife. Once discharged, I went to work for Nationwide Insurance. While working for Nationwide, I completed the MBA program at OSU, along with receiving a CPCU designation in Insurance. MBA at OSU, and after working for a couple years in Columbus and 15 years of marriage, she returned to Japan. Shortly after that, Nationwide sent me to Puerto Rico on what turned out to be a 2 year assignment to replace an aging computer system. Yes, while there I met my second wife. After working for Nationwide Insurance for 35 plus years in IT, I am finally retired. We have one daughter thru college, and a son in the Navy. We are currently sharing a home with 1 dog and 4 cockatiels in Columbus, OH.
