Life My life revolved around the military for many years. I enlisted in the USAF in Dec '57 and stayed on active duty until Mar '71. The Air Force sent me to Michigan State in '65 and I graduated with a BS "with honors" in Police Administration in Dec '66, then on to Officer Training School and where I was a "Distinguished Graduate in March 1967. After leaving active duty I entered the Air National Guard. My seminary education began in August 1972 and I completed a Masters of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in June 1978. My military career changed to the Army National Guard when I received an appointment as an Army Chaplain in March 1979. The next few years saw me serving a number of churches as Pastor and I was the State Chaplain of the Montana National Guard for five years, my final assignment was as Command Chaplain for the 311 Corps Support Command in Los Angeles, I retired as a full Colonel in 1995 with 36 years service. In 2002 I took retirement from pastoral ministry after 29 years of church work.
