Tom's Story
Tom is married. His schools include Wheatland-Chili High School. After I retired from the Navy I attended Florida State University (Business/Accounting and acquired my bachelors degree. In 2008 we started construction of a new home in Altamont, TN which Altamont is just a little town about an hour from Chattanooga, TN. The wife retired in June 2009 from Walt Disney World Kissimmee, FL. and we moved into our new home on 06/01/2009 from Florida. Our new home sits on top of the cumberland plateau a mountain and the view is breathtaking. I am currently retired and love it. I have taken in some tourist sites in Tennessee such as Elvis Presley's Graceland located in Memphis, TN. I have gone to Gatlinburg, Dolly...Expand for more
wood, Dixie Stampede, and have gone gambling at Harrahs in Cherokee, TN. We enjoy Tennessee very much because there are mild winters but yet you get a little snow/ice to make it pretty. The summers can be hot but nothing like Florida. Well got to go if I think of anything else to tell you I will put it on this profile page. UPDATE: We sold our Tennessee home in May of 2021 and we moved to Whitefield New Hampshire. We bought a lovely Log Cabin Home fully furnished on 4.2 acres of land. The mountains in New Hampshire are much more beautiful than Tennessee's mountains, however there is much much more snow and cold in New Hampshire than Tennessee. I have been visiting different tourist attractions in the area.
