Thomas's Story
Life
I am currently living in a small town on the South Shore of Boston. I am married with 2 kids. I am Retired (Disabled, Line of Duty) from The Fire Department after 31 years of service. My disability also forced me to retire from my second job working in a very busy Emergency Room. I am currently the owner of a Shamrock Service Business that I started. (I had to do something, I can't just sit till I die.) have spent most of my life helping people in trouble or pain. It is nice to now make beautiful things with my hands that give people pleasure in painting and finishing them.
Wow, how things have changed in Fairfield.
I have contacted many people from Ludlowe and am pleased with what most have made of then selves. I am sad to say that I have contacted some people here in Classmates and they are still mad at things that happened over 50 years ago. I would think all of us are different people than we were then. ou few that still have an ax to grind I say "I am sorry you cannot get over whatever you have in your head. I have learned to put a little heart in my life along the way and I feel I am a much better person for it." Everyone please feel free to contact me and say hello. Its nice to hear form anyone.
I have been in Community Theater since I left Ludlowe for the past 50 years. I have served on the Board of Directors of a couple of Theaters and president of both. I am not an actor but rather what is called a "Tecky" I mainly do lighting and sound for shows. I have done Haunted Houses and (one with Steve Taylor of Areosmith) and a few other professional shows.
I have volunteered for many years at Renaissance Faire. I have been with the New Hampshire Renascence Faire for over a decade. What I like most about that faire is the they take the profit and keep enough to run the show the next year and the rest is donated to the local Food Banks. Many thousands of dollars a year and growing. I get a to have a lot of fun with excellent people and a kid gets a good meal. What could be better?
