Thomas's Story
This is a real quick run through of the past 40 yrs, leaving
so much more to talk about.
Right out of Highschool I began working for Chrysler (Lynch Road Assembly).
At that time there were a number of guys from school getting into the Auto factories.
I worked there on & off (school leave) until 1976 while at the same time getting my Engineering degree at Lawrence Tech. I've since worked in Engineering for Chrysler, General Dynamics, & now currently at Ford (Van Dyke Transmission). I had spent time in Mexico & Cleveland, Ohio (1991-1998) manufacturing engines (w/ Ford).
For a while (fall of 72) I had contemplated enlisting in the Army. ...Expand for more
My lottery # was 24 & had the war continued
I would have been drafted. Thinking back,I believe it is the only Lottery I've ever one (or lost)!
Never had the fortune of being married. Close on 1 occasion.
Thru the years, for the most part, I've kept active in sports (baseball, golf, tennis, basketball, & etc.).
Since returning to Mich.,from Cleveland (in '98), my life has been more about taking care of my parents,
Believe me when I say that it was not what I had in mind.
Right now my time is taken up trying to recondition my '95 Taurus SHO, spending time w/ family,
riding my motorcycle, & occasionally getting in some exercise.
